The choreography and the instructions that are shown here are only for 2011!

The UptoFaith Dance 2012 will have new music and a new choreography.

Details about the 2012 event will be available soon. (Around May-April)

Some useful instruction for the training video

The first 13 seconds can be filled with individual ideas. Later, pictures of your cities might be edited here.
The choreography on the film is to be learnt not face to face in mirror but in the original direction which means you have to place yourself imaginary behind the dancers when practicing
The movements should be learnt slowly, precisely first. If they go well that way, you can gradually speed up to the original rhythm.
At the Rap section, the choreography (from 02:10 to 02:38 8x8 beat) intentionally does not fit the style of the music – it is not Hip-Hop – but stylized version of Hungarian folk dance motives. We encourage you to select simple steps and movements from your own folk patterns. At the final cut they may make an interesting mix.
We recommend standing in lines if there are numerous participants.
In the choreography there is circle order twice. This form can be varied freely depending of the number of the dancers.
In order to learn the dance, team practice is needed at least 4 times, but 6 times is better.

Caution!

Please start each rehearsal, even when practicing at home with warm up. As the set of rehearsals will last up to two months, those having any joint, knee, or ankle problems should decide whether they can undertake this pressure. If yes, use ankle and knee pads, and don't over load your joints.

Comment by Mollie Jean on April 24, 2011 at 7:54pm: Perhaps in the 2012 version, it can be planned into the dance to accommodate an inner or outer circle of dancers that have more limited ability- example for those who can't jump due to injuries or wheel chairs. It could just be hand motions. Just a thought!

Just saw the videos for the first time and I cry watching them. As someone else said, there should be another version for those in wheelchairs or disabilities.
